The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two maps illustrates distinguish between 1950 and same site today in Beechwood Farm.

Overall, it is evident that technological globalization has affected substantially which becomes daily of this Farm into modern.

In the north of the map, there was area in which sheep used to obtain their nutrition by grass in 1950 whereas parking, camping field and solar panels were constructed by the tree today.

In the center of the Farm, it is clear that the road was built and connected with barn which was track previous times and barn used to located in the east of the area but now holiday cottage is left side. Moreover, there is now farm shop near the highway.In the Beechwood Farm there is substantial figures that have not modified over time such as fruit trees, soft fruits,vegetables,chickens and the river.The water supply was river which has also changed and watering the rural community.
