Overall, site of a farm had changed a lot compared to 1950. In 1950, the large of part of farm have a sheep, whereas today, it is divided into two places. One is used for camping field, the other is used for solar panels and parking.

In 1950, beside the main road, we had a track, which is into the field. The first one on the right side of the track is fruit trees , beside that we had soft fruits and then followed by vegetables. If we follow the track we come to point which in triangular shape . If we move to the left of the track, we have barn at the end of the track.

Today, beside the main road, we have the road connecting the farm. When we enter into the road, left side we have farm shop and on the right we have parking facility. If we move a bit further, on the left side of the road and beside the parking facility we have a camping field. If we go straight way on the road, we reach to the triangular place, if we go the left side of the road, on the left we have solar panels and parking facility and right we have holiday cottages, earlier it was barn.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response covers the main features of the farm's transformation, identifying key changes such as the shift from agricultural use to recreational and commercial facilities. However, the description is somewhat mechanical and relies heavily on a 'tour-guide' style of narration rather than a comparative summary. While the main features are identified, the comparison between 1950 and today could be more analytical. For instance, the transition from a barn to holiday cottages is noted, but the overall impact of the site's development is not fully synthesized. The overview is present but lacks sufficient detail to fully capture the extent of the changes.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear distinction between the past and present states. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive and mechanical, relying heavily on phrases like 'If we move' or 'If we go'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'The first one on the right side of the track', which lacks a clear antecedent. While the progression of ideas is generally logical, the flow between sentences feels a bit disjointed due to the reliance on directional instructions rather than cohesive linking words that compare the two time periods effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to describe the various features of the farm, such as 'solar panels', 'holiday cottages', and 'parking facility'. However, the range is limited and somewhat repetitive. There are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'the large of part of farm have a sheep' (which should be 'a large part of the farm was used for sheep'). The student struggles with precise collocations, and the vocabulary lacks the sophistication required for higher bands. More varied terminology to describe spatial relationships and changes would improve the score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'the large of part of farm have a sheep' (subject-verb agreement and article usage) and 'which is into the field' (preposition error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions.
