IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The two map illustrates the changes that took place in site of a farm in 1950 and today.

Overall, its cleared that area of farm is more developed today. several new facilities were constructed. While some features like sheep was demolished.

In 1950, sheep area was positioned on the north east side. By Today, its removed. In addition , more facitilites like camping field, solar panels and 2 parking areas were constructed . One parking area for solar panel and another parking area is for the camping side. Also make a wall between solar panel area and camping side . Moreever, in the place of Barn, Holiday cottages are loacted and name of the route changed from track to road.

On the opposite side of map, River route are same as well as the location of farmhouse and chickens remain unchanged. Farm shop is added in the area of fruit trees. Additionly, Barn was replaced in the junction of 2 roads at the south.
