IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given map depicts a farm that was in 1950 and the same site toady. The information is given on the basis of selecting and reporting the features and comparison of the area.

Overall, it is crystal clear that there are several differences that were made in the area as compared to the former and the latter yaear.

To commence with, there is fruit tress beside the road but now there is a farm shop is constructed there beside this there was a soft fruit area which is as similar to the previous one. Moving next there is vegetables area that is also the same as in 1950 . The track along all these is now build as a road . Earlier there was sheep area in front of this but now parking followed by camping field and solar pannel is introduced there .

Moreover, a barn is introduced at side of the vegetable area along with the chickens and the farmhouse the barn which was in 1950 os now reconstructed as holiday cottages next to it there is more parking established along the road .
