The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

A glance at the map illustrate the site of a farm in 1950 and today.

In 1950, a farm had a simple facilities such as a fruit trees, a soft fruits, vegetables, a sheep, a farmhouse, a chickens as well as river.

After renovation in recent time, the farm field underwent a significant developments. The area of the yield remained same throughout the year. There were numerous facility introduced such as the area of a fruit trees was divided in a farm house. The name of the track was changed by road and it connected to the barn. A barn was replaced into holiday cottages. Moreover, a parking amenities increased in quantity at the area near farm shop as well as next to solar panels. A major area of sheep converted into the camping field at the centre of the area and a parking as well as solar panels installed on the northern side. A soft fruits and vegetables yields, a barn, a chickens shop and a farmhouse remained unchanged.

Overall, significant changes done in Beechwood farm by 1950 to today. More advance amenities introduced such as parking, a farm shop, a holiday cottages, solar panels and the camping field.
