The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The plans below show the site of farm development from 1950 to recently.1950 farm have very simple design that reflect the idea of previous century.

1950 farms have very simple and easy farming techniques. There was no roads built in that time only tracks are used for traveling.There was no space for parking and no advance technology available.

On the other hand , todays farm has enhanced with modern technology like solar panles , different camping fields and aslo a huge parking area. The more advancement is constuction of roads and also a farm shop that contribute to major advancement.There are other sections developed like holiday cottages which replace the barn . Barn now located at the road junction.

Overall , the farm changes completely . It us designed according to modern designs and needs.These advancement ply a crucial role in economy and helps the farmer alot in their progress.
