The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given plan show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Overall, we can see a huge difference from 1950 to today the barn house location has changed and solar panels are installed parking has been made and proper roads have been constructed and holiday cottages have been created for the tourists.

In 1950, the site is very basic. it has a big barn house and farmhouse and a place for chickens to live. Also, the pathways are not made up properly. Their is a huge place for the sheep. The pathway is connected to fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables.

Today's site, we can clearly see a huge difference the site has been changed totally. The area for sheep has been converted into camping fields, parking and solar panels has been installed. Proper roads have been constructed, farm shop has been opened and barn house place have changed to the left of the chicken farm. Holiday cottages have been constructed for living.

To sum up, the main changes done are solar panels, camping field, parking, holiday cottages and a farm shop.
