The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The plan illustrates the location of a farm house now and in 1950s.

It shows that the farmhouse was not well developed in 1950 as there were a few areas covered by various species. In contrast, now the farmhouse has shown dramatic of development and has covered many things in the same area.

In 1950, there was a simple track leading to the farm house from the main road and there was no shop, but now a road is leading to various locations and a farm shop is developed. Camping area is reserved so that the visitors can stay and enjoy there and a parking area is also created for vehicles. Now a solar panel is installed for electricity supply to the farmhouse and the barn area of the farm house has now been shifted near the chickens and holiday cottages are placed in that place. The fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables are still located at the bank of the river as they were in 1950.
