IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two plan illustrate how beechwood changed between 1950 to present day

Overall , the farm has been Modernised and diversified . Although the sheep farm are is converted into solar panels ,camping area and parking

whereas all the area remain the same .

The sheep yarn area of 1950 is converted to three different area of solar panels , camping area and parking at both end . The track is converted to the road moreover barn in center which is transfer from east to south of the map however old barn in converted to holiday cottage for the the people to stay for holidays .

In west fruit trees area small farm shop is added whereas soft fruits , vegetables area and farmhouse area remained unchanged . The river covered the two side moreover the bridge is constructed on the river on west side of the map with concrete road is west to north
