The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 7.0)
The plan illustrates the changes of Beechwood farm happened from 1950 to at present.
Overall, thr one part of area below the track in 1950 had faced several modifications today, whereas the opposite part which is sheep completely vanished by some new facilities today.
On the one side of track, which is to the south, Soft fruits and Vegitables remained same from 1950 to at present; however, the new farm shop is introduced today in fruit trees field area. In addition, barn has shifted to its new location which is below v shaped road. The area for chicken and farmhouse remained same at present; however, the holiday cottages took the old place of barn.
On the other side of track, to the north, whole sheep area has been taken by new features such as parking area, camping field and solar panels. Two new parking areas are developed today. One infront of the farm shop and another infront of the holiday cottages. Camping field and solar panels introduced today with almost 50 percent split of the whole sheep area where solar panels are to the north-east and camping field is to the south-west of the sheep.
