IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The Beechwood farm depicts a huge difference in the 1950 and till today. Trees of fruits, soft fruits and vegetable are at the same place but farm shop has replaced at the one corner of the fruit trees near the constructed road which was previously known by the name of track. Sheep area has been changed into latest camping field with the installation of solar panels that generate vast amount of electricity with the use of sun light. Two Parking area has also been constructed for the safety of the vehicles at both corner of the road. Barn has shifted near the one angle of the triangular road and has been replaced into holiday cottages. There is a no difference in the main road which at its same place from 1950 to the day. Installation of new technologies has a compound effect in the beauty of the farm as compared to the early 1950.
