IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The chart shows two sites of Beechwood farm one was planned in 1950 similarly on the second chart it is the same site today; we will discuss the changes made in this year gap.

In 1950 there was a huge space for sheep, this is on the one side of the farm after that there is a track after crossing track the other side of the farm is divided in two major parts one part contains fruit tree, soft fruits and vegetables the part contain chickens, farmhouse and barn along with this side of the Beechwood Farm there is a river crossing by.

Today this Beechwood Farm is much more modernized it has Solar Pannels for electricity it has camping fields; a lot of space for parking. Tracks are converted into road it also has holiday cottages.

I personally think that the today's Beechwood Farm meets all the facilities need in modernized farm
