The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The two plans compare the changes of the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Overall, it can be seen that the farm has been modernized. In contrast, it now includes the camping facilities and car parking for the visitors. It also includes the renewable source of energy. However, the farm shop has also been included to facilitate the farm.
In 1950, the track was available to travel in the farm, which has now been upgraded to concrete roads. The farm shop has been added in fruit trees area. The barn has been relocated to the junction of the road. The holiday cottages has been introduced in the earlier location of barn. The Sheep area which was holding most of the area of the farm has now been converted to staying facilities. It in includes camping field, two parking areas and solar panels.
However, the location of fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables have remained unchanged. Similarly, the position of farmhouse and chickens were left untouched.
