The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram given below shows the layout of a farm has changed from 1950 to present day.

Overall, the farm has changed a lot. Some farming area such as fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables, are still there. However, several new facilities have been added for visitors, including a farm shop, camping field, holiday cottages and parking areas.

In 1950, the fam had fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables in the western part. There was also a large area for sheep in the north. A barn, farmhouse and chicken area were located near the river. There were also several tracks around the farm.

Today, the fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables are still in the same areas. However, the sheep area has been replaced by a camping field and solar panels. A farm shop and parking area have been added near the main road. In addition, holiday cottages have been built near the farmhouse, while the barn has been moved closer to the center of the farm.
