The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given plan give sthe information about the beachwood farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Overall, during 1950 there was no facility of solar panels but a river, farmhouse and barn was there. But in today's time the track converted into road and other facilites such as solar panels are installed there and parking spaces are also there.

Commencing with year 1950, here the three fields were present for farming included fruit trees , soft fruits and for vegetables. Furthermore, it was seen that the track was in a triangular shape near the farm, and the barn. Across the farmhouse A rectangular space is used for keeping chickens. Moreover, in the south about 35% of the farm was covered by sheep and river flows in lower side of farm.

But in today's time, the solar panels are installed and the farming area chickens and faermhouse are still on the same place. Moreover., the barn changes its place and now present in between joining two roots. In addition, sheep area is replaced by installing solar panels and half by campging field. Two more parking spaces is added near the road and the holiday cottages are also there.
