The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The map illustrates the old layout of Beechwood Farm and its current layout.

Overall, Beechwood Farm has undergone significant changes over the period from 1950 to the present, which reflects a clear shift towards a more organized and efficient structure.

The diagram displays a large area at the northern side of the map where sheep were kept, was completely transformed. Two parking sites were constructed in that area, one on the north-east side and the other on the north-west side. Half of the area was spared for installing solar panels, and the other half was turned into a camping filed. Also, a tree was planted at the camping site. The track was completely converted to a road, and the position of the barn was changed, and a new barn was added at the junction of the triangular road near the riverside. A new farm shop was opened beside the highway, opposite to the parking. The chicken farm and the farmhouse were retained, and the previous barn site was transformed into the holiday cottages near the road in front of the parking.
