The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The two maps display the main changes in the farming site before and after it was proposed for redevelopment from 1950 till now.
Overall, the sheep area has undergone significant redevelopment with many original features being removed or replaced. Many new infrastructure items are being added, such as solar panels, camping fields, and parking facilities, while the fruit trees and soft fruits and vegetables remain unchanged.
In 1950, there was a large sheep area in the upper portion of the track, which has now been replaced with many facilities such as solar panels and camping fields, including two major parking areas in both directions of their largest area. However, the barn has been shifted toward the three-dimensional road on the lower portion of the track; also, the previous area of the barn has been replaced by holiday cottages on the opposite side of the solar panel area road.
On the fruit's eastern side, the area of fruit trees has been extended with the farm shop included in its portion of its field, while the soft fruits, vegetables, chickens, and farmhouse remain constant at the western part if their property
