The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps display the Beechwood farm transformation from 1950 to today.

Overall, the farm underwent a massive development over the year. The noticeable change was the addition of solar panels, parking area, camping field and Holiday cottages.

In 1950, the farm had tracks, instead of but now it is turned into the roads. There was a sheep area, which is removed now. In the southeast side there was Barn, farmhouse and chicken area. Near the road there was fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables.

Toady, sheep area has been removed and added solar panels. Near the road camping field was added. Now there are two parking areas in today's Beechwood farm. In the southeast side of the farm Holiday cottages are added and removed Barn. Today the Barn is connected to the road. Near the road farm was built. Fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, chickens, and farm house remained the same.
