The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two pictures illustrate the location of beechwood farm in 1950 and the same site today, and compare the changes which have been made in the past and now.

Overall, several objects has been added in the farm today as compared to the past. However, some shops remained same throughout the time period. In addition, the track has been replaced with road, and the barn moved to the different location now. Moreover, sheep completely vanished now.

In 1950, there were only few things existed, included fruits tress, soft fruits, vegetables, and they are still existed, but now there is a farm shop opened near to fruit trees. Today, the track replaced with roads, and sheep replaced with camping field, parking, and solar panels. In present, more trees are growing close to the camping field. The location of barn is changed now, and holiday cottages are available for tourists. The place of chickens is still same.
