IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Here diagram shows the two points of a beechwood site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today. First I discuss In 1950 Fruit trees , soft trees and Vegetables with roads cover the same area while the sheep area is widely spread. River is crossing the whole farm. Farmhouse and the chickens are on the left side of river and a track on the top.

Now I explain the second point of today development of site.

Road on the river is same as well as fruits and vegetables also but a new Farm shop is built near the fruit trees. However parking in the camping field make easier for customers. Additionally solar panels added to save electricity bills. As well as the Holidays cottages are build o the right side of the Farmhouse and all roads goes to the Barn. In fact chickens on right of barn and left of farmhouse.

In conclusion Today the beechwood farm site have a great development.
