The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given roadmaps illustrate the site of a farm in 1950 and the similar site current day.

Overall, now sheep area replaced with solar panels and camping field. In addition, there are holiday cottages where barn sector used to located.

By comparing both sites the chickens ,vegetables, soft fruits and fruit trees remained in the same place before and after the changes. Moreover, there is addition of farm shop in front of fruit tress at present day. Tracks of 1950 were replaced with roads followed by same location and pathway although the roads lead to the barn area which previously was present at the right side of triangular shaped tracks. Parking is also introduced now with camping field next to it where you can see trees and tents for visitors. Additionally, currently Holiday cottages near the farmhouse also allocated for tourists. River in both sites in 1950 and today remain at the same lane and location.
