The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The plans below represents the site of a farm from 1950 to present day.
Overall, it is evident from the information that various types of changes has made from 1950 to present day.
To begin with, firstly we have to look on the features that have remained unchanged, fruit tress and vegetables areas are still located in north western and central parts of the farm.the sheep continue to occupy the northern section.
In addition, the farmhouse and the area for chickens have remained in the same general locations in the south eastern part of the farm.the river and the main roads around the farm have also stayed unchanged.
However,several significant changese have taken place on the farm . A farm shop and a parking area have been added near the entrance in the north west, while a camping field has been introduced in the northen section.solar panels have also been installed in the north-east, along with another parking area.
Furthermore,the original barn has been relocated from the eastern side to the southern part of the farm, and a road has been constructed to provide access to the new holiday cottages.
Overall, the farm has been developed considerably for tourism and leisure purposes.
