IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The following maps illustrate the site of a Beechwood Farm in 1950 and same site at present condition. Huge number of changes are observed in the present farm map when it compares to 1950 site map.
Overall, the beechwood Farm land map is significantly changed from past to present condition .It rapidly changed so that many new things were updated to the farm site map.
In 1950 the site map of Beechwood Farm contains only fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, farm house barn, chicken and sheep. and the Track is connected to the all parts of the site map. The river flow is from backside of the fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, farmhouse, chicken and barn. single line road is connected from sheep, track, fruit trees and a bridge is on the river.
The site map today has many changes when it is comparing with 1950's site map. The changes like installation of solar panels, camping field and parking in the place of sheep. The small space is occupied for farm shop from Fruit trees holiday cottages are newly updated in the place of Barn.
The Track is replaced with Road there is the direct connection to Barn through Road.
