The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The map of Beechwood farm site illustrates the comparison between the construction of 1950 and present day site after new development.
Overall, the development from 1950 to today farm site exhibits a modern area with increased facilities including parking, camping field, solar panels, holiday cottages, farm shop and construction of road.
The track that connected the farm facilities was rebuilt as a proper road to provide accessibility to customers. The fruit trees connected by the farm road and the other road had a new addition of farm shop in the west side. Besides fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables had not seen any change during the redevelopment. Barn was shifted to the south in the center of vegetables and chickens via connected by road near the triangular section.
On the east end of the Beechwood farm, holiday cottages occupied the area of barn whereas farm house and chickens below it saw no change. The upper section of the farm that was reserved for sheep in 1950 was converted into a camping field and solar panels with a parking in both areas to cater the people.
