The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
the image describe the certain changes about the beechwood farms and gives a important information about map education.
overall, At the beginning of the period, the farm had a relatively simple layout, with most of the land being used for agriculture and animal husbandry but in todays time it is converted fully facilated farm.
In 1950 the sheep area are located in north-west which is transform in parkings, camping field and solar panels in todays time. Tracks are converted into fully facilated road in current time. In the north-east direction fruit trees are located but it was added a farm shop in today time.
In todays time the soft fruits and vegetables section remain same as it is like 1950. Barn area will added in todays time in south direction of beechwood farm. Still chickens and farmhouse parts remain same as it is as compare to 1950. Holiday cottages will be constructed in place of barn area in todays time.
