The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The 2 plans illustrate Beechwood farm site in 1950 and how it looks like currently.

Overall, the farm has been transformed from an ordinary agricultural land to a morden farm that can be used for tourist destination with farm shops solar panels, roads and a camping field.

In 1950, the farm had a river that was like a baundary and a track route on the other side. Between a river and track road was fruit trees just closer to the road, soft fruites were planted next and vegetables as well. The barn was closer to the track road and on the southern side was farmhouse and chickens next to each other.

Today, the road, fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables and the farmhouse remain unchanged while, the track was turned into a road, the sheep place was completly demolished into a camping field, a parking space and solar panels were also installed there. The barn was moved to an end road and chickens were placed near it. oliday cottage was also built
