The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The layout illustrates a Beechwood farm site in 1950 and same site in present moment.

Overall, compare to 1950 significant amount of development has been done, such as solar panels, camping field and other morden infrastructure .

firstly, In 1950 beechwood farm has temporary track connecting to highway, river side of that track had some farms mostly for fruit trees and vegetables in addition with barn, farmhouse with a chicken coop. whereas, upper part of track has huge land area for sheep.

Secondly, at present rode is made where previously it was track. in entrance of beechwood farm has parking and exactly front of it is farm shop inside of fruit trees farm. upper portion of road have camping field and solar panels with other parking at the other end this area previously was sheep field. the river side of rode now has holiday cottages for tourists which previously was barn in addition to farmhouse, new barn is made at central part of road.
