The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The maps which are given are the location of a farm of 1950 as compared to this day.

In this image, the farm is named as Beechwood Farm. The Highway and the River is same as it is in both the maps. And the area is very developed by the year 1950. The track is also converted in the form of road.

As it is shown in the image, the site of the sheep is extincted and camping field, solar panels and parking is planted there. The barn area is changed into the holiday cottages.

A big tree is also planted in between the area of camping which was the area of sheep ever. A farm shop is also opened in the spot of the fruit tees. In the modern map, a barn area is made in between the chickens and vegetables. The parking area is expanding when the road is constructed there.
