The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The diagrams illustrate the information about changes in Beechwood Farm between 1950 and the present day.

Overall beechwood farm undergone a substantial changes

the most noticeable change is exchange track to road whereas also addition of solar panels, whereas sheep farm is converted to camping field and two parking areas as well as solar panels.

in 1950, the farm contained sheep farm which have taken a large amount of area whereas there is a track for connecting and access to facilities which is exchange with road at present day, and the barn replaced by holiday cottages. Solar panels, two parking areas and a camping fields are replaced by sheep farm.

And the other areas like soft fruits, and fruit trees still remain on the river side while barn is next to the vegetables connected to road, on the right side chickens and farmhouse still remain while barn is replaced by holiday cottages and on the left side addition of new farm shop in the area of fruit trees
