IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map given us show the 76 years difference of the site of the farm.

In 1950, Road was the starting point and there were a fruit trees in front of the road .But nowadays, there is farm shop including with them. In 1950, there was a soft fruits area and vegetables area that is same as today. In the past, there was a farm house , barns and chicken but nowadays, Holiday Cottages is including.

There was a track who turned into road . There was a river stream that is exactly same as that. In past, there was a sheep area that changed into three parts. Including a parking area and there is also a camping field including. The last one is solar panels area . In my opinion , there are multiple things that are changed from the past by dividing areas that is considered good for us.
