IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

as we can see the farms in 1950 are more open places to explore and in todays farms there are lots of divided places where each place is occupied for each section to have a job eg.

farm shop to buy something camping field for rest and parking areas for park our veichle there are some holiday cottages which makes it more interesting and a separate farmhouse which catch more attraction to the map.

now if we compare both maps we can see some significant changes in order to how things are organised at the farm in 1950 people don't really think about the other amenities while people in today's farm really organised eg. they have some solar panels to generate electricity in farm in order to operate machines and the roads and tracks are visually same but now they met with a barn also and the old barn is transformed into cottages and they well utilised the area for sheep to have other amenities there.
