IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

there is a farm showed here and it's old side and recent side is given by image. there are two image and each has created in different time.

first we look at first one and it was taken in 1950 and it looked very basic.in beechwood farm there was a large area for sheep and below there was a track for locals. they divided their field by growing different things such as vegetables ,soft fruits and trees. their fields were close to the river so for farming it became easy. beside triangle track there was a barn, farmhouse and chickens.

in nowadays, it seems like they convert this place into a resort because features this image showing from it i can say that. first thing that change is sheep area removed and replace by camping field and also add solar panels. in this they build two parking for cars. track is replaced by roads and in that side they include holiday cottages. in field they add farm shop also.
