IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map show the developments that took place in the site of a Beechwood form in 1950 and today.

Overall, the layout underwent significant modernization with several facilities with old Beechwood form and new one.

In the northern part of the map, in fruit tree block added fruit shop, while soft fruit and vegetables are still same.

Track shift into the road. In the right side of the road, there are several changes in sheep side. Sheep side converted into four parts. First part is parking, then two camping field. additionally in sheep side solar panels and parking area are added.

In the western part of the map, there is a new change holiday cottages are constructed, While farmhouse, Barn and Chickens are still same.

Furthermore there is no more development in river side area.
