The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two maps illustrate how Beechwood farm has changed between 1950 and current time.
Overall, the area experienced significant farm development, with the construction of several solar planets and camping field along parking area into sheep.
One of the most striking change was the transformation of sheep area, which was originally a camping field as well as parking area build on the north-west corner of the farm. Similarly, the fruit trees located in the north-west direction and farm shop added with it. Making space for the solar panels on the north-east side.
In addition to these changes, a new barn was constructed next to farmhouse, enhancing the quality of road. Meanwhile, vegetables and soft fruits fields remained largely unchanged. Moreover, the barn was changed by holiday and cottages sit of the farm. The farmhouses , which was previously unused, saw the introduction of sheep was removed for the camping area.
