Student answer (Band 6.0)
The plans illustrate the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Overall, it is evident that several modifications have been made to the Beechwood Farm. Some places remained the same, while others were changed.
After analyzing the plan, in 1950 the area was reserved for sheep in the north-east direction, while this area has been converted into camping field, solar panels and the parking site currently. Moreover, the barn was present in the south-east corner in 1950 which has been transformed into Holiday cottages now. The Farmhouse and chickens have remained in the same area in both maps
In addition, one more parking site has been made in the north-west direction in the new plan, whereas parking was not present in the previous plan. However, Fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables have been placed in the same place in both plans. In the north-west direction farm shop has been made in the later map.A new barn has been constructed at the junction of two roads in the south-east direction in the new plan.
