IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given figure illustrates the development occured in Beechwood farm over the time period of seventy five years.

Overall, there has seen major construction of solar panels,camping fiels and parking areas to the north side of the road in the field of sheep area.

To begain with, there is seen farm shop in the boundry area of fruits trees whereas opposite to it there is construction of parking. No changes have been made in field of soft fruits and vegetables but opposite in north side there is camping area along with the plantation of trees next tom it.

However, several changes there has not seen changes in chicken farming are and farmhouse area. Barn has been converted into holiday cottages and next to north side there is seen major changes. There is a small parking area followed by several solar panels opposite to holiday cottage. the track has been constructed into road that leads to a triangular junction and barn is shifted to southern of the junction.
