IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The maps illustrates the comparison of the beechwood farm layout with the current site.

Overall, the farm have been developed into more cultivate way. While, the areas of trees and poultry remains the same. whereas, the cattle area have been replaced by tourist visiting area. In additional, the track are modified with the road and several resources are added.

In 1950, a sheep areas was located on the northern side of the track, on the southeast side of the farm barn was located, followed by farmhouse. The chickens were kept at the southern area, at the northwest side plantation was done, where fruits, trees and vegetables were grown, to connected all these areas a track was linked in between and for the resources at the south side a river flows.
