IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are two maps that are describing the area of the farm. First one is showing us the site of farm that was in 1950 and the second one is telling about the area of farm in present days
From the first map, we can clearly see that the complete front of the location is attached with the main road, the back area of the farm is linked with the river, the most of the part of farm is given to sheeps and the smallest one is given to Barn. Behind the barn crop there is a farmhouse.
Second plan is the modern version of the first one. Along all the crops and vegetables it also have a farmhouse but this plan has one exception that this plan didn't allocate the area to sheep. Inspite of that this area is divided in to two sections, in one section solar panels are fixed and in other one section the area is for camping.
