IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The beechwood farm is situated on the left side of the main road. In 1950 it had a track connected to the middle of the road which leads to far end. On the other hand, the track is now updated to a road with addition of a farm shop on the right side of the link road and a Barn is relocated on the tip of the triangular shaped road from the left side of the far end of the track wheras it is now updated to holiday cottages.
The entire region at right side of the track was exclusively for sheeps in 1950. As of today new developements have been made. A place for parking is allocated at the left side of the link road connected to the main road. Furthermore, infront of the parking, camping field is allocated. In addition, on the left side of the camping field four solar panels have been installed. A new parking has been made at far end of the link road infront of the solar panels.
