The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The plans given depicts the area of farm in 1950 and now in the present time.
Overall, it is beachwood farm builted in 1950 and some changes are done in present farm such as, solar panels,barn,holiday cottages,parking, farm shops are added and tracks are replaced by the roads. Camping field with a tree is added in the place of sheep area.
In 1950, the farm has fruit trees, soft fruits,vegetables near to the track and river. There was a big area for the sheeps in the farm. There was the triangular shaped track in the middle of the farm. There was barn near to it and a big farmhouse. There were one place is also for the chickens beside the river.
The farmn in current time, there are many changes done such as a lot of area for parking and solar panels is added. In the place of sheep area there is now big area for camping field with a huge tree. In the replacement of track there is noew roads. Barn is attached to the road in the middle. Fram shop is added in the area of fruit trees.Bran is repalced by the holiday cottages.
