The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The given images illustrate the information about Beechwood farm of current and in the year 1950. The images contains some similar informations such as: fruit trees, soft fruit, vegetables, barn, and chickens respectively.

In the year of 1950, there was a beechwood farms besides the road and river which can produces variety of things like fruit trees, soft fruit, vegetables, and chickens. Additionally, there is also a sheep farm and barn close to the river. Moreover, it also have a farmhouse for guests and owner between the tracks and river.

In todays farms, there is also such things but with the flow of time, it can add some new facilities like parking, camping and new roads for vehicles. Furthermore, they made a holiday cottages and also plant solar panels for electricity.

Overall, both images contains information about beechwood farms of current and past. Todays farm can added some new facilities that can be beneficial for farm and it can attract many tourists as compare to past farm.
