The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The provided plans gives information about the site of a Beechwood Farm from 1950 till today.

Overall, it can be seen that sheep area of the site transformed the most and solar panels added to it. Therefore, some changes occured in other areas too.

Turning to the details, parking, camping field and solar panels took place the area of sheep. In addition, there are two parking areas today on he opposite sides in the map. Whereas, there were fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables across the river in 1950 plan but today there is a farm shop beside fruit trees in the map while the other two remains constant.

Moreover, place of barn changed and shifted between vegetables and chickens area however holiday holiday cottages added at the place of barn. Furthermore, farmhouse still remains the same and the track converted into roads. At last, the sheeps are completely finished in today map.
