IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given plan illustrates about how development has taken place in Beechwood Farm. It shows what all new things have been added or been replaced in today's time as compared to past 1950 year plan

Overall no significant devlopment has taken place . But it depicts how Beechwood Farm has been tranformed in recent years.

Most of things didn't change at all like it inherited most of parts such as Fruit trees , Soft fruits , vegetables area , Chickens , and Farmhouse . But today Fruit trees area now have Farm shop . Old improper tracks have been now transformed to proper road . At entrance Beechwoord Farm now have parking.

Other major development changes includes that old Barn area have been replaced with Holiday Cottages . while Barn area has been shifted to left of Chickens area . Moreover most signifacnt changes have been seen in Sheep area . It has now been fully transformed . It now contains camping field ,Parking at camping field .It also have Solar Panel as renewable source of energy and Parking facilisty in solar panel region as well.
