The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two plans illustrate how the site of a Beechwood farm has changed since the year 1950.

Overall, The beechwood farm becomes more developed, with many new facilities added such as solar panels, camping field and holiday cottages. Some existing ones remained unchanged.

First looking at the north side, Sheep area has replaced by four solar panels, a camping field and two parking slots. One parking area in the northeast and one in the northwest side, while camping field include two camps and a tree.

In the middle of the farm, tracks are converted into roads, while barn has shifted at the end where two roads joined. On the east side of the farm, holiday cottages facility has added. On the west side, Farm shop has constructed. By comparing the southeast and southwest sides unchanged facilities, on the southwest fruit trees, soft fruites and vegetables, on the southeast chickens and farmhouse remained unchanged.
