The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram illustrates the layout of beechwood farm in 1950 and how it was look at present.
Overall, the site has been undergone significant transformation from agriculture land to more diverse establishment, incorporating new facilities such as tourist field, renewable energy and parking amenities. While some features are remain unchanged and old track was modernised
In 1950, the upper side of the farm was dominated by the sheep, in the present the site was completely replaced by camping field for tourist and solar panels. while the two parking amenities were also added near the road and track was completely replaced by the modern road for easy access to cars.
In the lower side, some features are remain unchanged particularly, the farmhouse, chickens, vegetables and fruits. some rotable changes have been occured, the barn was relocated closer to junction. Whereas the three rows of holiday cottage was build on barn location and farm shop was newly open near the main road.
