The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

There are two different timeline blueprints of the Beechwood Farm which show significant changings over the span of 70 years.In the 1950 map, the farm used to have simple soiled track which is accesible from any spot in the farm.It has a huge area specific for sheep breeding and small compartments for vegetables, fruits and trees.In contrast, the recent blueprint depicts more constructed version of farm.Many new shops and places have been added to it.Although the compartments for chicken, trees and vegetables are still the same, there is a fruit shop along with the fruit trees.The soiled track is modernized to a concrete road.The major evolvement occured in the area for sheep which is now occupied by solar panels and the camping field with parking area in both corners.Lastly, the barn used to sit at the far end of the track is now directly reachable through the frok in the road and in its old place holiday cottages are present.On these grounds, I would say that the Beechwood farm has undergone favorable changes with the passage of time.
