The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
Two maps illustrate the site of a Beechwood farm in the past and what changes have occured in this region recently.
Overall, solar panels, a camping field and two parking ares are constructed in the region of sheep in today's map. Holidays cottages are built with farmhouse and chickens region. The road and river have same positions in both maps.
Currently, there are many changes found in the Beechwood farm's map. In the north-east area of sheep is substituted for solar panels, a camping field and two different parkings areas, one is on north-east side along with solar panels and other is on north-west side of camping fields. In the south east region, holidays cottages are situated along with farmhouse, chicken and barn region. The positions of vegetables, soft fruits and Fruit trees are remained constant with having new farm shop inside the area of fruit trees. The roadways and river are at same placed.
