The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The map compares the site

of a farm in 1950 and

the same site today.

Overall the site underwent

significant changes with

the addition of several facilities

such as farm shop,

camping field, solar panels,

Parking and holiday cottages

while some existing features

being relocated like barn

and roads.In contrast sheeps are removed.

In 1950, the farm is

not well developed. It

is located

on the river side. Moreover

it contains fruit trees

followed by soft fruits

and vegetables. However

on the opposite side

of track sheeps occupied

a large area. By crossing

a tracks their was a barn,

farmhouse and chickens.

Today the farm consists

of several facilities like

a farm shop built

adjacent to fruit trees then

barn is located at the

end of fork road .Additionally

Holiday cottages are

also built on the

upper side of farm house

and by crossing the

road there is a parking

and solar panels.

Moreover on the opposite

side a field for

camping and parking

is relocated after

removing sheeps.
