IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The plans illustrate different sites of farm from year 1950 to today.
Overall, there is a solar panels, parking, holiday cottages, camping field and barn are present in todays farm and in 1950 these things was not present.
The road is on the same place as before. Fruit trees are on same spot and there was no farm shop in past but know in present there is a farm shop. On south side there is a river as before, soft fruits and vegetables are on same places as before. There was a track in 1950 but now there are roads and two roads are linked with barn. Farmhouse and chickens are on same place. There are additions of solar panels, barn, camping field and holiday cottage. In 1950 there was a sheep but now this area covered with parking,camping field and solar panels. Two parkings are linked with the road.
