IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given maps chart illustrate the details about the modification of beechwood farm between 1950 and recent year.
At a glance, it is evident that there are numerious change taken by authority and added parking area and farm shop.
To commence with, after analysing the chart it can bi clearly seen that the area of sheep was converted into camping field and solar panels as well as a parking. In the south east side of map, farmhouse and chickens area were untouched but barn was replaced by holiday cottages.
Probing ahead to further details, the area of fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetable were remained constant in the south west side where joint a farm shop in fruit room. Create a parking area in the north west side. Moreover, the area of track was modified and transfered into a road.
